FAQ

How much will my animation cost?
Pricing varies depending on the project. For smaller tasks like social media posts, I offer a day rate. For larger, more detailed animations, I provide a project-based rate. You’ll receive a detailed cost breakdown in advance so that we’re aligned before work begins.
How long will my animation take?
The timeline depends on your project’s requirements, the animation style, and the amount of preparation needed. We'll discuss your expectations, costs, and deadlines beforehand, with a clear plan for when you can expect to see progress.
What do I need to provide?
You may need to provide a script, graphic assets, or music, depending on your project. If you're starting from scratch, I can assist you in gathering these elements.
For logo animations, please provide vector files (AI, SVG) of your logo. PNG and JPEG files won’t be accepted.
What can I expect from you?
We’ll agree on the file formats (MP4, GIF, MOV, etc.) and the required dimensions. If you decide to change dimensions later in the process, additional costs may apply, and it might not always be possible to accommodate these changes. Working files can be provided for an extra fee.
What if I have changes?
I follow a “share early, share often” approach, so you’re unlikely to get to the final stage without seeing progress along the way. Typically, I include one round of revisions in the project costs. Additional changes will be discussed and priced in advance.
If your project involves a script or voiceover, changes to the script can only be made up to a certain stage in the animation process. I’ll let you know the limits before we start.
What if my deadline is really tight?
I work on a first-come, first-served basis. It’s best to reach out early to secure my time. If I can’t take on your project, I have a network of trusted freelancers who can help meet your deadline. I’ll always be honest about what can be achieved within your timeframe.
What if I no longer need your services?
If you cancel a confirmed booking within 24 hours of the start date, a 50% cancellation fee will apply. For example, if you book me for three days and cancel the evening before, I’ll invoice you for 1.5 days (50% of the full fee).
What if I’m not sure when I need to book you?
You can ‘pencil in’ my availability, but if another client requests the same dates, I’ll need you to confirm or release the booking as soon as possible.
How long do I have to pay my invoice?
Invoices are due within 30 days. A late payment fee of 5% of the total invoice will be added for every day the payment is overdue. For example, if your invoice is £500 and you're 10 days late, a £250 late fee will be added.
