Rates and costs
My standard day rate is £300, which covers a full day’s work of 8 hours dedicated solely to your project meaning you get my full focus without interruptions.
I normally don’t charge by the hour, as I don’t take on spec work, but for specific clients
I can work on an hourly basis at £50 per hour. This hourly rate applies when I’m splitting time between multiple client projects and fitting your work in where possible, rather than dedicating the whole day exclusively to your project.

For example: if I work 2 hours, that’s £100 (2 × £50). But if the hours worked add up to 8 hours, I calculate it as a full day at £300.
For new clients, I offer a discounted rate of £250 per day and £40 per hour for the first project. After that, my rates return to the standard rates above.
How does payment work?
A 50% deposit is required before work begins. The remaining 50% is due upon final approval, before the delivery of any final files. Final payment must be made within
14 days of project sign-off. A 2% late fee per week applies if payment is overdue. Quotes are valid for 7 days from the date the proposal is sent. Payment is accepted via bank transfer.
Who owns the work?
I retain full rights to all files and drafts until full payment is received. Once paid in full, you receive full rights to the final agreed deliverables. I may showcase the work (including unused drafts) in my portfolio and marketing materials, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
How many revisions are included?
Two rounds of revisions are included in your project. Additional revisions may incur extra charges if they go beyond the agreed scope. Timely feedback helps keep your project on track.
What happens if the project is cancelled?
If you cancel after work starts, the 50% deposit is non-refundable.If work completed exceeds the deposit’s value, the additional amount will be billed. If the project scope is reduced but falls below the 50% deposit value, no refund is issued instead, I’ll deliver
work that matches the value of the deposit. If I cancel, you’ll receive a full refund of your deposit within 14 days.
Will my project stay confidential?
All proprietary information shared during the project will be kept confidential. However, I reserve the right to showcase the creative process and final deliverables on my portfolio or social media after the project has been approved and delivered, unless we agree otherwise in writing. If confidentiality is a concern, I'm happy to arrange a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) just let me know before the project begins.
Is this a legally binding agreement?
Yes. By paying the initial deposit, you agree to the terms in this agreement. It protects both your rights and mine, ensuring a smooth and professional working relationship.
What if there are project delays?
I’ll stick to the timeline outlined in the proposal assuming timely communication from you. Delays on your side may lead to timeline adjustments and additional fees. If I don’t hear from you for more than 14 days, the project may be paused or cancelled, and the deposit retained.
How do I confirm the project and send the deposit?
Please return the signed agreement within 14 days. Send the 50% deposit using the bank details provided in the separate PDF. You’ll receive an official receipt separately once payment is processed.You’ll also receive a Trello board link where you can track the status and progress of your project in real time.
